Snap-D Stainless Steel Bow Shackle - 13mm

Bow shackles may seem a little odd to some people, but that doesn’t stop this little beauty from shining in the rain. The 12mm D shackle may have the spotlight, but the 13mm has its back with more back to give. The 13mm Bow shackle is very similar to the 12mm D shackle, only 1mm separates the two. With a wide opening, plenty of room for a chain, easy to hold, and a strong 3.5t tow rating.

Ideal for your larger trailer boat, horse float or that tandem axle you push to the limit. With a 13mm main pin and 3.5 tonnes towing mass, this shackle is the business when it comes to Bow Shackles.

Typically used in pairs on a tandem axle trailer, between 1500kg- 3tonne.

By law, the Maximum Towing Mass (MTM) must be 1.5 times greater than the actual towing mass. For convenience, we have included a recommended towing mass which is the MTM divided by 1.5, please ensure that the mass of your load does not exceed our recommended towing mass.
